This is the third album of the band and it is white hot and heavy from the first batter up to the stealing thunder ten tracks later. Simplistic hard rock music which plays on the heavy metal strings and the more punkish strings, nothing complex just straight to the point with an excellent production that is just polished enough and dirty enough to be as close to perfect as it is possible to be. As the album is short and to the point it is varied enough to retain interest from start to finish, I can guarantee that it is difficult to grow tired of this album. It should probably appeal much to fans of this genre and the songs all have strong hit potential.
As I have alluded to before, it is an album that is very appealing from the start to the end. I really like how they have put the songs together and how good the songs really are, the album really catches my attention. I also think that it is great that it is a band of girls, the hard rock genre really needs more great lady musicians and that is not only because girls are much more interesting than long-haired silly-looking guys but because they do think a little different and add more variety to the scene. These girls may not be the most unique but they have great talent and song-writing capability that makes them one of the absolute best bands I have heard in this genre – a genre that I am generally not that interested in.
Now I have written much more than I really need about this album, all that really needed to be said is that you should look closer at this album. It is a great display of how to make great rocking songs and they all appeal from the opener Batter Up to the ending Stealing Thunder. I think the trio of Batter Up, Let the Neighbours Call the Cops and White Russian Roulette might be the highlight of the album. But why pick favourite lets just say that it is a white hot album by some really hot ladies, don’t miss it.
