Musically it is riff – riffetti, riff, riff and gaah, blaah, graakh and such sounds are what we hear on this album. Quite one-dimensional and devoid of variation even though they use words like mathcore and personal style – words that I would not use to describe this album. The vocals are angry and raw, quite dull. The production is quite typical of the genre neither better nor worse and I can’t help but feeling like I have been bound and undergone some torture and now just waiting to be killed.
This album is brilliant, excellent in every regard – sarcasm is what it is the album is not very good. I can’t help feeling bored about it and I am glad it is finally over as this is not something I want to spend my time doing – listening to and writing about an album of this calibre. Sure, I know that the band is doing the best they can and that fans of the genre will probably find this as brilliant as I find something that is as far removed from this band as possible but I cannot help feeling quite tortured by listening to an album like this.
No song stand out to me, nothing about it is particularly interesting. Fans of the genre will probably quite joyed with this album but the majority of our readers like other kind of music and will probably not be as fascinated or impressed by the torturous racket that comes out of the speakers when listening to this album. So, let me make a little fire and fore firewood this works just fine so there is a use for it after all – not bad, not bad at all and it saves a bit on my electric bill.
