It is exciting and different music, it doesn’t fit any established format and the production is quite lo-fi. A bit dirty, some might call it a little bit incoherent but it sure is different and the variation is quite large over the six tracks we are offered on this piece of music. I think the cover art is quite revealing of what to expect on the album, the singer is generally a bit so-so and the production does sound a tad cheap. Another thing one notices is how the album’s songs does not quite seem to fit together into a musical unit but rather as six independent tracks, kind of like a compilation.
The best rating for their ideas and unique approach to their music, they certainly does not sound like anything else I have heard. I like that approach. What I don’t quite like is the sound, I have always like crisp, clean and solid production and this album does not have that, it sounds cheap. I don’t like that. I think though that the sounds is just one of the things, the incoherent nature of the album is the weakest point. The tracks have benefits but the album as a whole does not really stand up to too much scrutiny.
I think that the track called Fascination is the best one and that is actually a fairly good track that I kind of like. The rest of the tracks have both good and bad parts and I can see why people would like this kind of thing, it certainly takes a different approach to this kind of music. I think we can deduce that it is an album that is not for everyone and by that I mean that it is not for me. If you think the cover art looks exciting, I suppose you might find this album exciting as well because it sounds as it looks.
