Their music is certainly spacey enough, springing from the extreme metal and building from there they create magic with spacey keyboards, and guitars. The production is very strong with a sound that is very solid and mature, not much revealing that it is a debut. Impressive piece of work for sure. Six tracks of which one is an intro and the rest are well over eight minutes long, so it is all long songs giving us a playing time of almost fifty minutes over five songs and a small bang theory which is said to challenge the widely accepted big bang theory. Or not. So, they set up the right parts for a journey in space but is their ship spaceworthy enough?
I would say that the ship is spaceworthy enough, I like this album. It is an interesting journey, an amazing flight in space at its best moments. With its interdimensional keyboards and vacuumy riffs it bring joy to anyone who likes hearing music that sets off to other places. It has much depth so you can play it over and discover new dimensions and new parts beyond the wormholes and beyond the quasars. So, if you like the similar bands or bands like Atoma, Mammutant or Alchemist I am quite sure that you will find this quite entertaining as well, black metal with a spacey touch, not overly heavy but deep and varied. It is like a journey.
And the most exciting parts of the journey in question is track four and five which both are excellent, long and varied tracks with great melodies and exciting travels. I would however say that I would have liked to have a little better vocals as the growling isn’t the best I have ever heard and maybe breaking it up with some clean singing would have done a world of difference. Then again, it still works and not everything needs to be millimetre perfect when it comes to music it is the feel that counts and what could be better than the feel of a journey into the unknowns of space?
