Here we have another album from a group of hopeful musicians, a self financed piece of work they want us to look at. That sounds great and the album looks fantastic at the face of it and unlike many they also know to make a decent biography although they should have a release information with the album with information on production and all of that stuff as well. The sales pitch is better than usual as well making this look quite interesting on the face of it. But there is one thing producing graphical material that looks high class and professional and it is another to actually deliver on the promise such things sets up.

Seen on production this album clearly delivers, the production is really top notch and I imagine that these guys has spent a fair bit of money in making it a reality. It is modern rock music with a grungelike sound that encompass all elements usually heard in modern rock, it is also well performed and the singer of the band is quite good as well. One will be hard pressed to guess that they are a Greek band as the sound would suggest that they are from Seattle, thing is though that their title also feels quite wrong considering that this album is sounding like a very commercial album and had they had the right promotion and a push by radio station they would most likely be a successful band because this is a style of music that suits many. It is quite inoffensive and presses the right buttons for the casual radio listener. And the title is also wrong because to commit commercial suicide you need to have had commercial success first.

So, does the songs live up to the promise of the rest of the album? Well, the answer to that has to be no as the songs are quite bland and not really getting anywhere and the album in total is also too long to really allow you to take any of it in which makes this album one of those I have played more than ten times now and still don’t really feel I know as the songs just pass by without me really taking an interest in them. I think this is a bit sad considering how well they have done everything, I just wish that they could have complemented it with some splendid songwriting as well but they didn’t. Which makes this one of those talented band that you hear and just know that there is more to them than they show.

They do show a lot of talent and promise, now they just need to focus that talent and promise into making some spectacular songs as well. Sure they have received some good reviews but that isn’t so strange considering the inoffensive nature of their music but the thing is that they do need to dare a little bit more as you have to take some risks to create the best of music. But for this album I would say that it is nothing for me but if you like grunge or modern american rock/hardrock then there is a good chance that you enjoy this album as well.
