Comments to the review:
As the really big expert on extreme sorts of metal, like death, black and thrash, during Hallowed's time as a printed publication - Silfver shone with his extreme knowledge in these genres. His amazing knowledge in this sort of bands resulted in a extreme metal special in Hallowed #2, which was one of our most appreciated articles during our time as printed magazine. Silfver hasn't been on the staff since we ended the printed magazine and therefore he can't comment on this review him self. However I had the final saying in how the review ended up and therefore am somewhat responsible for why it looks like it does.
Let's start with the short versions of the band name, DT instead of the full name, which was something we had to do to save space for the many reviews we had in #1, and the limited number of pages to put them on. Many reviews ended up shortend to only a point score and whatever we could shorten - like band names, album titles or whatever - we did, as long as it worked language wise. That's why the band name still is written in full at two places, otherwise it would sound stupid.
The review in itself I think is one of Silfver's best he ever wrote. Even though it's short, it still is understandable and rich on information and he doesn't waste space to name drop bands with connection to stuff mentioned in the review (in this one it would be Fredrik Nordström and Studio Fredman), which Silfver otherwise had a tendency to do. We learn that Stanne has an aggressive voice, there's an astonishing sound and this is the sixt album by this band from Gothenburgh. If we're familliar to the band, we also get good information about the music with less electronics and more riffing. The fact that Silfver liked the album is unquestionable and all in all I therefore think this is one of SIlfver's best reviews.
