You could say that they build on a krautrock foundation and then add many more things to make a progressive creation that is quite unpredictable and fresh. The vocals are in German and both male and female vocals, none of them are brilliant but they suit the style very well. The production is good, the playing time sensible, and there is quite a lot of variation through this album. It almost feels a bit on the shorter side, like you want more of it and that is always a good thing as it tends to leave a more positive impression when you leave an album feeling that you want to listen again.
And it stands up for repeated listening too, very well as there is so much depth in the songs. I think it is obvious from the first tones of an alarm and the yelling of the coming of the Holz that this is a great album. There are no weaknesses, and the track Stereo Indigo is a strong highlight on a strong album that is well worth listening to many times over. It is an exciting album that is likely to grow better for each time you hear it, I enjoyed listening to the ten tracks many times before writing a few words about it. The interesting artwork is a very good representation of what you will hear when you are listening to this album.
An album for those of you who find it boring to listen to the same album over and over, this is different. This is a fresh and a creative album that I recommend you to check out, it has great songs and a quality that makes it worth listening to many times over.
