The trio is said to inspired by many genres like hip hop, hardcore, country and different reaches of the alternative rock genres. They might be inspired by those different genres, but their music is pop-rock style with pretty catchy songs and a somewhat punkish tone. Accessible songs that can be quite easy to like, and as they keep the playing time very sensible it is not much of a problem that the album isn’t the most varied one that I have heard. The vocalist is pretty typical for the pop rock, pop punk kind of band, there isn’t really anything overly special about this band from the creative viewpoint.
I think this album is quite good, it is easy to like with simple and catchy songs. The backside is that it is also an album that is pretty easy to grow tired with as well, and this is because there isn’t really anything more that you hear – no hidden depth or things to discover. And, another slight negative is the lack of distinctive hit songs, songs that really makes you want to return to the album. It is more of a solid and a bit cautious effort, you have to risk failure to dare to win and these guys play it safe all the way.
A thing that struck me when researching this album, and band, is that there were very few reviews on the web and none of them really positive, usually a sign of a poorer release. I don’t think that this album is bad, I just don’t think that it is a very memorable album. The guys give us a solid album that shows a bit of promise but never really takes off to the highs of the best albums in the genre.
