It is classic thrash metal of a style that has been done many times before and while it is similar to what they have done before I think they have taken a step forward with this one. It shows a wider range of ideas than the previous album and has better variety in the songs, as well as a better production. The songs seem more worked through and less haphazard than the previous album, and perhaps you could even claim that the sound is fresher this time. Still, I think they could have made the album a bit shorter, it may not be that long in terms of actual time but it feels a bit too long when listen through it.
I think that this is a good album with good songs, especially the song Dead or White that also happens to be an anti-fascist song. Fitting that I should write about such a thing when a fascist just killed plenty of people just because they had the wrong religion in his eyes, if that would be what the world was turning to I would rather be dead than white – similitude is boring. The song is really good though. I also think that No Plan B is a really nice song that like the previously mentioned song is well worth enjoying a few times. And this time the album doesn’t feel pointless or boring, it is fairly good but the critic will always point out that others have done what Rezet is doing better, some have done it much better.
If you like the more traditional thrash metal, especially the Bay Areas-style, I would say that this is an album that will be worth checking out for you. I think that you will like what you get to hear if you do. It may not be the most impressive album ever, it works and it has good songs so I think that the only logical conclusion to make about this album is that it is much better than the previous one. This new album shows that Rezet is highly improved.
