Back With a Bang - Part 1

The Dutch quartet in dirty denims are back with a bang, releasing the first part of their new album called Back With a Bang, this is part 1. It is a release with a cool artwork and songs that are simple and straight to the point, catchy fun hard rock music. Plain and simple. And it is a female fronted band with two girls and two guys, Back With a Bang is their second album and this is the first part, the second part will probably arrive soon, I hope.

Think Heart, The Donnas, Joan Jett and the three similar bands, think those bands and you will have a pretty good idea about how this band sounds. It is not very impressive from a creative standpoint, they play on the tried and tested and come up with songs that I think all of us have heard before in one guise or another. Still, they offer up plenty of energy, good variation, short and to the point – almost a little too short but I guess that will be addressed when the second part arrives.

It may not be overly original but it is a very catchy and very solid album, I like it. The vocalist is pretty good, and the songs are very strong and enjoyable. I think this is a fun, catchy and enjoyable album that will go down really well with rock fans all around. It is good stuff, plain and simple.
