They offer AOR of good sound with a rather good vocalist and a typical selection of songs. No real surprises besides the great cliché opener that is surprisingly great and I also enjoy the track called Smile for the Camera that is a great speedy song that sticks to your mind like glue sticks to your fingers if you accidentally put it there. Unfortunately there is not much besides those two tracks, the remainder of the album is something you can either have or miss, it makes no difference.
In the end I think it is a decent album, maybe slightly above average thanks to the excellence it shows on occasion. The AOR crowds will enjoy it as it pushes their favourite buttons but it isn’t really good enough or interesting enough to really to make a seasoned reviewer excited. Two of the songs are making me somewhat excited but the album as a whole doesn’t quite stand out in the competition, so besides two amazing highlights we get a rather forgettable album with decent songs that sounds just like everything else in this genre.
