Simplistic punkish metal music with pop-punk tendencies is how I would describe this album. Good energy and great production, the vocals are great and the songs are relatively varied through the ten tracks that play for 37 minutes. It is straight to the point and nothing complicated just easy to take in powerful music for 37 minutes. I think it has proven to be a very good first acquaintance with this band. It is a strong comeback album.
It starts with murdering of crows and then just goes on until it ends with something twisted by design, and there is a lot of great stuff in there. A really strong album where hit songs like Breaking the Chain, God Save Us All and my favourite song War makes me want to return to the album and hear it over and over again. I can highly recommend this very great album, especially if you like straight to the point heavy punkish metal music. Great stuff!
Perhaps I have missed something by not discovering these guys in the past, but at least I have heard this one and it is great. A collection of catchy songs that should be strong hits playing all over the radio and whatever, and I don’t think I need to write much more than that. I suggest you get the album and find out that what I write is the absolute truth.
