We don’t really need to know the names of the bands, all we need to know is that they put together a rather exciting fourteen track rock musical journey with everything from poppy ballads to flat out rockers. A great production and the Madame sings really well, and the songs are not too shabby either. They offer good variation over the songs and the album plays for just the right amount of time and one would really have to be an annoying critic to not like it.
The one thing you could have reservations about is that the music isn’t really breaking much new ground, it is songs that offer music of a tried and tested variety, and it really work. And the song titles are amusing as well starting with a monster and moves through nightmares, witchcraft, more than misery and pain – there’s even better days in there. And better days can certainly await this Madame, as this is definitely an album that deserves to do quite well. And it is a great album when driving in the car but also works when just listening and besides the lack of originality I cannot really see anything wrong with this album.
It is really great; the first track is a monster but maybe not a monster hit. The best track is the fifth one called Witchcraft, a really enjoyable track with amusing lyrics. I also think that Left for Dead and Under the Microscope are catchy tunes that stick to the mind, but all of the tracks are really good. And this leaves me with the conclusion that now you know that this is a great album, I suggest you act upon that knowledge.
