American punk rockers called Guttermouth finally got it made after ten years of silence, controversial singer Mark Adkins has changed all members but himself since that time when the shaved the world. Musically I wouldn’t say that anything has happened since last time but that is according to some how punk rock should be: offensive, simple and such. To me punk should be about stating something, rise up against the establishment and such things, noble things but as far as I can hear from the lyrics this is just pubertal offensive and poor humour.

Very simplistic music and musically it feels very average, like something from the eighties and the production doesn’t really feel that fresh either. It isn’t really an album for those of us who like the new music we hear to have a novel feel to it. But at least it is short and to the point, and it feels kind of pubertal to be music coming from a band led by an old man.

A difficult album to really write much about, it doesn’t really convey much to me. I am a little bit bothered by the ridiculous lyrics, but each to his own but the music doesn’t speak either and the best thing about this EP is that it is short. The songs are average and in the end I am left not really feeling anything about it. No old man Adkins, you and your crew really need to come up with something a lot better than this if you want to make fans and critics happy. I would describe this as average at best, ridiculous at worst – I think I am leaning mostly towards the first of those options.
