Finns with dark dreams, is what we can suspect that these guys are about. Their debut takes us on the grey sea to meet some whales; it is an EP on six tracks going from Tiny Pieces to Animal Puppets. If I look at the cover, this EP does not look very interesting – but what about the music? Will this EP have anything to offer?

Well, it is a well-produced EP. Great soundscape with crushing heavy metal, some melodicness, strong keyboard melodies – a little bit of groove and everything. I think they have created a strong production, decent variation and everything. It is a 33-minute hard-hitting piece of music. But a strong production is just one side of the coin and the other one is how good the songs are and what kind of an emotional impact they can make – along with originality of course.

They are not awful on originality, which is a positive. The songs are also generally quite strong, it all shapes out to be a strong debut. But when I listen to it, I don’t really get any emotional impact, the EP fails to grab my attention and it is one of those musical pieces that pass by without really making much of an impact. Maybe it is a hit song that is missing from this EP, maybe it is something else – nevertheless, I still think that you ought to have a look at it as your view may differ from mine as can be commonplace when it comes to music and as there aren’t any real weak points, chances are that several of you might find it quite appealing.

No song really stand out to me but they are all pretty okay and I think that these tracks along with a pair of stronger hit songs can make a very strong album. So, we can deduce that they have something very strong in the making – this one however can be described as a solid debut but hardly anything that will go down in history.
