And when looking inside the cover and behind all the titles it is clear that everything is exactly as they appear from the cover. It is traditional thrash metal that can be said to emulate the Bay Area style as well as the German style thrash metal, I think you know the bands I think of. You do it if you like thrash metal at least. It is powerful classic no-nonsense thrash metal. No-nonsense and no surprises sort of like they seek to make an homage to those greats of the past and make no secret of their lack of own musical ideas. The production is like an updated version of those bands of the past, if you have heard the latest by Kreator I think you can imagine the sound.
Short and to the point which is the way to do it when making music of a genre that isn’t naturally varied, like thrash metal. The songs are fairly typical of the genre and they are ten. It is a good album as well, I think it is fairly entertaining album and one that most thrash fans will find very entertaining and very good. But it isn’t really anything new at all, just things we have heard before. And I like music I haven’t heard before or music that is better than music I have heard before if it is of the same genre and unfortunately Thrashback is neither.
They are a good band, I like their songs but I think those who wants their thrash metal simple and to the point is going to love them. I don’t know which of the ten songs is the best, they are all good and classic thrash song so if all you want is a thrash metal album of the classic king then this is definitely one that you should have a look at.
