Their Fault, Our Problem, yeah that is how it tends to be. It might be that asshole Putin and his other schizophrenic personality they are talking about, or maybe some other assholes in the world. We live on a blue marble full of them, the assholes that is. These guys don’t seem to belong to the asshole squad though and this is the first album by them, it follows their debut EP that saw the light of day in 2011. It looks cooler and more interesting than said EP, at least when looking at the cover artwork which also seems to indicate a quartet with a sense of humour. I would say that this albums reeks of punk rock, it looks the part and everything but what about the music, is it what it looks like?

It is punk rock, that is really everything we need to know. It follows the general directions of the genre with simple songs, lots of energy and lots of catchiness. It is what it is, punk rock as you imagine punk rock to sound when you hear the word. Not much variation on the theme, after all punk rock isn’t really known for that kind of thing but while it may not break any new ground or anything it is clever, catchy, and all of that. It has a bit of a DIY-feel to it just as punk rock is supposed to have, a nod to the classics and with a sense of humour as well.

Short and to the point, a solid, very good punk rock album. I enjoy listening to it, it has a collection of very good songs. Fourteen and a hidden track, the hidden track isn’t really worth the wait but the rest of the album is definitely worth given a shot or two because just like any good punk rock music it is an album well worth listening to for a while. Sure it may not go down in history but I doubt that is what punk rock music is all about, it is about saying something important in an entertaining way and that is what these guys do.

All tracks are very solid, very good so it is a bit difficult to pick favourites but the opener called Bombcity is a great catchy tune, I also like the second to last song as well as 1986, not the year but the song. But all the tracks are very good and the album itself comes highly recommended by this reviewer, at least if you are a fan of the punk rock genre.
