My brother said that they sound like AC/DC and that isn’t a bad comparison, especially if you consider the voice. Stylewise it may be more akin towards glam rock or something in that style, a bit metal as well. They look quite glam as well. They have a good drive in their music, good production with a modern sound yet with a nod back to times long gone. It is a fresh and well balanced production that keeps the rawness of the voice and music yet has a melodic touch. Many catchy choruses and decent variation but maybe the album is a tad long with well over fifty minutes of playing time.
I like this album, it feels fresh and balanced. The fact that they have many strong songs on the album makes this an album well worth checking out. It has decent depth as well giving it good longevity, I like it as they manage to make something very mainstream into something quite exciting. Both by doing what they do really well and by finding a way to express it better than most. No real weak point but the vocals are not the best in the genre, sometimes they sound a bit uninspired. I would say a bit up and down in that department but other than that I cannot find anything to even slightly fault with this strong album.
Yes, this is a recommended album, I think you should have a look at it if you like bands like swiss Gotthard or AC/DC, something like that. I also think that the title track is the best one on the album, a good catchy song. A real hit song I would say. But it is not the only great song, there are more on the album that as a whole is well worth looking into for anyone who likes a bit rougher, rawer and more powerful rock music. Classic rock as good as it gets, Join the Party!
