Classic hardrock, no nonsense and lots of energy is what these guys are all about. It sounds classic but with a modern sound, it is produced in a modern and great way. Singer Sange has a classic and very good voice for the musical style they present. Decent variation over the seven tracks, some with energy, some typical hardrock songs, some calmer stuff and a song sung in italian which is something I really like. I think more bands should do some stuff in their own language. Two of the songs are maybe a bit typical of the genre and don’t quite add to this feel of freshness that most of the album has. Overall this band feels both like a classic hardrock album and like something fresh. Maybe we can describe it as an updated version of the classic hardrock.
I like this short album, it has a good playing time to keep you interested all the way through despite tracks four and five which aren’t that great as they are pretty typical hardrockers. Alright but nothing fancy you could say about them. Then we have the rest of the album which is much more interesting. I think it has a good balance between the different phases and is enough heavy and soft and then of course the track in italian adds a great depth to the album. It is an impressive production, really well made.
I think that the best track is the sixth track called Sea of Sadness but I also have to add the ending track for the italian lyrics but also for being a good track, and the first track is great as well. I think this is a good showcase of a good band. Certainly worth checking out for anyone who is a fan of classic hardrock, but it has a bit more depth as well so I think most that will hear it will find it rather good. Definitely a recommended album, have a look at it, I think you might like it.
