In the beginning Allfader created the blastbeats and hard riffs. And the music was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the album. And the hand of Allfader moved upon the strings of the guitars. And Allfader said, "Let there be growls": and there was growls. And Allfader heard the growls, that it was evil: and Allfader divided the growls from the music. And Allfader called the first parts verse, and the second he called chorus. And the guitar solo and the ending were the first song.

And Allfader said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the album, and let it divide the songs from the other songs". And Allfader made the firmament, and divided the songs which were before the firmament from the songs which were after the firmament: and it was so. And Allfader called the firmament Draconian Command. And the guitar solo and the ending were the second song.
And Allfader said, "Let the all the instruments used be gathered together unto one certain part of the song, and let them clearly appear": and it was so. And Allfader called these instrumental parts; and the other gathering called he vocal parts: and Allfader heard that this sounded good. And Allfader said, "Let the music bring forth melodies, some well-playing musicans, and flow in the music that have a connection with whatever that follows, whose in it self, have a structure": and it was so. And the album brought forth melodies, and musicans whom could play their instruments, and the structure yielding flow, whose music was in itself, enough not to be repetitive: and Allfader heard that it was good. And the guitar solo and the ending were the third song.

And Allfader said, "Let there be structure in the songs of the album to divide the songs from the other; and let them be for signs, and for passages, and for verses, and choruses as well as sticks: And let songs have names to be for guidance in the booklet at back of the cover to give light upon the listener": and it was so. And Allfader made two great structures; the greater choruses to be repeated in the songs, and the lesser to be the verse: he made the sticks also. And Allfader put them in the songs of the album to give structure upon the album, And to rule over the instruments and over the vocals, and to divide the everything from sounding like a pice of crap: and Allfader heard that it sounded good. And the guitar solo and the ending were the fourth song.
And Allfader said,
"Let the album bring forth abundantly the different tones, and guitars that may play above the bass and the drums in the open firmament of the album". And Allfader created great guitar lines, and bass lines that moveth thy heart, which the drums unselfeshly brought forth abundantly, after their melodies, and every song flow after his structure: and Allfader heard that it sounded good. And Allfader blessed them, saying, "Let's do vocal parts, and match the instruments, and fill the songs on the album, and let these controll the guitars, bass and drums". And the guitar solo and the ending were the fifth song.

And Allfader said, "Let the album bring forth the vocal parts in different ways, growls, and clear vocals, and beast of the microphone to create a darkness over the vocals": and it was so. And Allfader made the beast of the microphone sound dark, and be almost evil, and every thing that creepeth up from the throath of his vocalist: and Allfader heard that it sounded good. And Allfader said, "Let us make the vocal lines meaningful, and create significance in the album: and let them have dominion over the verse, and over the chorus, and over the solo, and over all the parts of the songs, and over every instrumental part that playeth upon the album. So Allfader created the album in his own image, in the ideas of Allfader created he the album; song after song created he them. And Allfader blessed them, and Allfader said unto them, "Be enjoyable, and multiply melodies and flow, and replenish the album, and subdue it: and have dominion over the people listening, and over the people that may hear it, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth". And Allfader said, "Behold, I have given you every important piece, which is needed to make a great album, and every instrument, which is played by cunning musicans; to you it shall be for enjoyment. And to everyone that doesn't like too heavy music, and to everyone that hates growls, and to every thing that needs music that is insightful and progressive, wherein there is a soul, I have given all other albums on the planet to enjoy": and it was so. And Allfader saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. But it was also some things that wasn't, and it was melodic death; the hard way.

To conclude I'd like to begin by translating Allfader for you who doesn't understand Norwegian or Danish or Swedish: this means "Father of all". To me this album is probably the first in a very long time from French label Osmose that I don't feel is the worst kind of laxative for throwing up ever made. Norweigian Allfader and their 'Black Blood Flux' is a decent album and even though it feels pretty worked at and well made I feel the music is too hard and gets too frustratng to hear in the long 50 minutes of playing time that it last. Overall I'd rate it a C-: okay, not suicidally bad and a sure thing if you're in to this really heavy death metal. Amen.
