As for music it begins in some sort of extreme kind of thing which of course can be something but then it changes into a more classical kind of hardrock. It is heavy and the vocalist sound like he drinks a bit of whiskey for breakfast. The voice of the singer is a striking feature and unlike Motörhead it actually works for this band and it works rather well. Another thing that works well with this record is the production which enhance what the band has written in a powerful way making the nine songs even stronger.
This record is short and to the point, nine tracks, no compromise and a minute length that is just about right, really no more than the length of a vinyl record which is how all bands should really do it. I must really commend this band for their choice of making less into more, this is the way to do it, remove the excess stuff in order to make better use of what is really good.
All tracks are quite good though I hold the track called Partners in Crime as the best one on the record. I think all the tracks on the record are good and powerful songs and the fact that there are so few tracks and so few minutes the record don’t have real time to get boring which is something to commend once again.
In the end I will say that this is a very good record, easily in the approved numbers on our ratings scale, a recommended for anyone who likes straight ahead rock’n’roll without compromises.
And to end it all with the words of promotion: With the attitude of the four horsemen and Lemmy in one, they WILL take over the world. With or without your permission. So, you’d better watch out in the future!
